Turboma manufactured a completely new inlet section for a powerstation that is over 100 years old. The three main weir gates have a precise, solid construction that can withstand water pressure. The gates are controlled by hydraulic cylinders equipped with position sensors. There are two main hydraulic units and one backup unit for controlling the gates. There is also a spare diesel unit for emergency control of the gates. Completely new fine screens with an electrically powered closing gate were also manufactured for this powerstation.
